Product Description
The Camco RV Gen-Turi Generator Exhaust Venting System helps reduce noise and keep the air fresh at RV rallies, campgrounds, and tailgate parties. This system allows you to vent offensive and unhealthy exhaust fumes from the top of your RV instead of at ground level where they might be inhaled by others. This system is easy to install and disconnects quickly, and weighs only nine pounds.Amazon.com Product Description

The Camco Gen-turi RV Generator Exhaust System is a venting system designed specifically for RV generators that provides for fresher air around RVs as well as reduces generator noise. The Gen-turi utilizes a tubing and coupling system to raise generator exhaust above the top level of your RV. It can be used with RVs utilizing virtually any exhaust pipes size by way of a variety of adapters. Additional features include: light weight design, a rubberized stabilizing/sound reduction system and a storage bag.

Reduce RV Generator Exhaust and Noise

RV generators are a popular and convenient tool for providing instant power when you on the road, but close quarters at rallies, tailgate parties and at campgrounds create a need for a reduction in the noise and exhaust fumes that they generate. This is where Gen-turi comes in. The Gen-turi is made specifically for use with RV generators,* when the vehicle is at rest. It diverts nasty fumes away from the ground, where they can be inhaled by neighboring RVers and campers, allowing you all your comforts while remaining a good neighbor. As generator exhaust is vented above the roof line of the RV and is also air cooled in a patented process.

Dilution of fumes leads to less rattle that is often transferred to the vehicle body, and then the surrounding area, resulting in reducing noise all around. The Gen-turi is also conveniently light weight at only nine pounds, and comes with its own soft storage bag.

How it Works

Exhaust “noise” comes from two sources: vibration and the sound made by the actual gases leaving the exhaust pipe. Most manufacturers mount generators in a manner that uses some type of rubber material to isolate the vibration of the generator. Even though the Gen-turi is rigidly secured to the exhaust system, rubber straps are used to stabilize the Gen-turi to the coach. This prevents transferring the vibration noise of the generator system to the coach. As an added benefit, the noise made by the gases discharging from the generator exhaust pipe is diverted upward, above the roof line of the coach. As a result, in most installations, the exhaust system is actually quieter with the Gen-turi installed.

Compatibility

The Camco Gen-turi Air Cooled Generator Exhaust System is designed for near universal compatibility. With that in mind it can be used with any recreational vehicle that utilizes an exhaust pipes with outside diameters of 1″, 1¼”, 1⅜”, 1½”, and 1⅝.” Adapters required for 1¼”, 1⅜”, and 1½” are included. These will accommodate most installations. Adapters required for 1″ and 1⅝” may be purchased separately.

Key Features

For more news visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Follow us on Facebook ☛ facebook.com One electricity company in Thailand is lending a helping hand to Japan. It’s shipping over two diesel generators to help with the country’s energy needs. After last month’s earthquake and tsunami, the amount of electricity available is far below normal levels. On Wednesday, the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand packed up one of two diesel power generators ready for shipping. It’s going to Japan to assist that country’s power shortage after last month’s devastating earthquake and tsunami. The generator is being shipped to Kanagawa, a southern province near Tokyo on May 8th. The second generator will be shipped to Tokyo on May 15th. [Viwat Thairungroj, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand]: “These two generators have a capacity of 244 megawatts. It is expected to help 240000 Japanese households.” Tokyo Electric Power Company, or TEPCO, requested the generators last month. TEPCO is trying to supply power while staving off a nuclear disaster at its ailing Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. TEPCO supplies one-third of Japan’s electricity, and says it will be able to supply 52000 megawatts of power at the end of July. TEPCO has rationed power in its service area that covers Kanagawa, Tokyo and other prefectures. While power supply has resumed in many areas, people are worried there will be outages when summer hits. Firms have implemented electricity …

Wind Power Turbines in Canela, Coquimbo, CHILE, Southamerica: Parque Eolico Canela, as part of a system of Non-Conventional Renewable Energy, NCRE, using natural resources in Northern Chile, 300 kms North of Santiago, less than a couple of hours South of La Serena Airport. Their webpage annouces a power generation of up to 78 MW (Megawatts). This capacity was originally set up for 18 MW a couple of years ago. The region is marked by dense fog late in the night and possibly early in the morning; very likely more than 300 days per year, it is a semi arid zone by the desert, close to Atacama Desert. Low precipitation, almost 40-80 mm of rain per year. Other Non Conventional Renewable Energy projects in Chile include biomass and sun power generation.
